Auto compressor re-manufacturing is a process of recovering a damaged compressor and is different from other compressor recovery processes like refurbishing and repairing because of its completeness. This procedure involves recycling the damaged compressor using other parts while ensuring that the inherent weaknesses the compressor had is removed. The final product is at times better when compared to the original compressor. There are several types of compressor re-manufacturing; the first is re-manufacturing without losing the brand identity. The PASS certificate is issued and finally it gets shipped back plus the certificate to the installer.
