Save Electricity With Extreme Power Saver

I’ve been walking around SM Mall of Asia today and saw something nifty that may be of some good use. They call it the Extreme Power Saver. This is how it basically works. Just plug it in to any AC Outlet in your house and when your monthly electric bill is due, you save 30% off. There seems to be much debate about power saving devices. A lot of discussions are going on here.

Now down to the basic question, is it a scam or not? I have no idea. Some people say it is, some people say it isn’t. However, Ace Hardware in SM seems to stake their name on the latter, since they’re selling the Extreme Power Saver at Php 2,000. I got mine at Php 1,500 because it was on sale. I still have to observe if it really does what its supposed to. I’ll let you all know what’s what soon.

    so, does it work for you?

    i bought mine some 2 weeks ago, can’t tell yet since our bill had already arrived.

    we recently moved it to new (old) house almost 2 months ago. i think this the right time to compute how much can we “really” save.

    Hi, yes I bought one at sm baguio, im an engineer and took it apart to see the werks. its a “power factor correction device” its bit technical but power is generated in sine wave and it gets out of phase with inductive loads, ie motors flouresents etc
    that is it will save on any device with a motor…aircon, Ref, vacuum cleaner, washing machine etc also flouresent / tube light but not new style energy savers

    Im looking for the manufacturer in Taiwan to import into New Zealand

    last month i bought i from ace hardware sm fairview, 4k then dahil daw sale, 1999 nalang. i month used ko na, and from 180kw 270kw ang consumption ko.

    Guys this gadget is ligit as long as you buy it from ligit sellers ie.- Ace Hardware…this has already been featured on News To Go of GMA. This corrects and saves energy loss from unstable current usage from motorized equipment etc…

    hi guys, actually im confused if its really real..i bought mine just today and it is latest model of extreme power saver (P1,999), they call it Xtreme2 power saver in the price of P7,500. They actually test directly on our outlet and i have witnessed the changes of the cycle of my meter. when they plug it, my meter cycle came slower. To be actually sure of it we count it by seconds per cycle. Without the Xtreme2 device = 19 sec./cycle. With Xtreme2 device = 42 sec./cycle. I finally decided to Buy it..but of course were talking about the money, when they left, I realized i am not a 100% sure with this device. Pls. if someone tried the same device i have, I want to hear from him KUNG TAMA BA ANG NABILI KO AT HINDI NASAYANG ANG PERA KO. (Xtreme 2 Power Saver from Savernet Marketing.

    Dahil pangalan ng ace hardware ang nakataya.. bibili ako ngayong araw na ito november 21, 2011.. babalik ako dito after a month para sa resulta.. i own a computer shop that generates around 550 to 600 kwh per month.. magkaalaman na kung totoo ba talaga yan..

    i just bouhgt the product a mont ago,and im so shock with my electric bill i have received just this morning. usualy my electric bill was just 1,900- 2,300 pesos only.but instead na bumaba ang bill ko using the extreme power saver mas tumaas pa ngayon lang as in ako nagbill ng ganito 3,544.40.kaya tanong ko amazing product ba ito????? malaking halaga din sa akin ang 1,600 na presyo ng extreme power saver na ito kaya nga ng una ko itong makita sa ace hardware store hindi agad ako nag avail because of the reason na rin na kukulangin ako sa budget sa bahay kapag binili ko ito ng wla ako extra maoney,but luckily nagbayad sa akin ung kumare ko sa napahiram ko pera sa kanya kaya naman pagkapunta ulit namin ng SM binili ko na sya..pero para anu?magsayang lang ako ng pera?at mas lalo pa nadagdagan ang bill ng kuryente ko.so please lang wag naman po tayo manglamang ng kapwa at please lang ibalik nu pera naming mga consumer na nauto nyo!

    I bought Xtreme2 X2 3000W. This did not work. Di rin nakabawas ng bill ko. Now it will just work for 5mins and it will stop supplying 220V. Waste of money…. this is junk. Kasalanan ko rin nagpauto ako. Di ko na rin makita yung ahente na nagsabi na lifetime warranty daw. Savernet Marketing has no contact number…. pls post if you know where to contact them.

    ang power saver ay totoo! hindi ang power saver ang nangloko kung di ang tao! ang power saver ay isang kapacitor, ginagawa ni power saver ang pag regulate ang pag exactong daloy na boltahe. ngayon kung meron kang power saver na ginagamit maiwasan ang power loss! bobo lang kasi minsan ang pagppaliwanag! pero may pakinabang ang power saver. salamat

    An agent of Savernet Marketing knocked on my door this morning offering the gadget for free but I have to be a member of an org she named Energy Conservation blah blah blah and I have to cash out Php7,500 to be a lifetime member.     ako din bumili last dec 2011, 2,300 – 2,600 lang bill namin ng meralco ngayong january naging 3,200 na..amazing talaga nakakagulat imbis na bumaba tumaas pa..lang na save!di kaya partnership nila ang Meralco dito..Hayyy..
