Everyone’s getting on with this tablet hype. HP’s coming out with a Slate that runs on Windows 7. Dell’s also coming out with the Mini 5. Now Toshiba announced that they’re also coming out with their own. They don’t have a name for it yet but it they said their tablet will either run Microsoft’s Windows 7 or Google Android. Toshiba says that they may also come out with a dual-screen version. There’s no talk of price or availability yet though, considering they don’t even know what to call it. Here’s what I think. I think this is going to be like that iPod killer that never came. Other companies will keep on coming out with their own version of the iPad but none will surpass its superiority. And I still think that nobody needs a damn tablet. Laptops are still the way to go.
